Virtual Business Delegation
The German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce hosts a virtual industry conference on 20 October 2020 surrounding a virtual business delegation for German companies active in the mining industry. The delegation will take place between the 19 and 23 October. The overarching goal of the delegation is to support German SMEs in finding business partners and collaborations in the Australian market. The program is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
During the virtual industry conference on 20 October 2020, Australian mining experts and professionals will give in-depth information about the trends and developments within the industry. Also, delegates from the German companies will present their innovative products. The virtual conference will further be an excellent networking platform for all participants and will allow a timeframe for one-on-one meetings.
Within the period of the delegation, German company representatives will meet virtually with potential Australian business partners (one-on-one business partner matchings), which will be organised by the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Mining Conference - Trends, Innovations and Opportunities

Featuring key speakers from Australia and Germany, the event presents an opportunity to learn more about the mining industry in both countries. German companies showcase their innovative products and share their experience in the mining supplier sector, and Australian counterparts give insights into the Australian industry from a miner’s perspective.
Australian mining experts and professionals will give in-depth information about the trends and developments within the industry focusing on advanced mining technologies and automation in mining. Four industry speakers (2 from Australia and 2 from Germany) will be speaking at the virtual conference. Besides that, nine delegation participants from Germany will showcase their innovations and technologies with case studies.
During the 3-hour conference you will have the possibility to network with delegates and speakers. The conference is part of a virtual delegation which allows direct 1:1 contact with German Business Delegates so they can start a conversation about future collaboration.
