From its office in Sydney, Hengst serves the customers of its hydraulic filter division and opens up new markets.
International filtration specialist Hengst Filtration continues to grow and recently opened its 21st location worldwide. Through its office in Sydney, Australia, the Münster-based family business is now represented in twelve countries on five continents. "We are happy to be able to open up two such interesting and beautiful countries as Australia and New Zealand from our office in Sydney," says Group CEO Christopher Heine about Hengst's expansion.
As part of the acquisition and the integration of Bosch Rexroth's hydraulic filter business since April 2021 the aim is also to take over the sales activities in Australia and shape the strong Hengst brand there. "Hydraulic filters are often installed in critical applications, which is why customers have high demands on spare parts supplies. With our regional presence, we meet these requirements perfectly," adds Heine.
In addition, General Manager James Coulter and his three-person team will develop new markets in the OE business, aftermarket, industrial air filtration, and oil and gas filtration sectors. As many of the most important customers are located in Sydney, the logical choice was Australia's largest city.
