We are pleased to announce that the German-Australian Chamber of Industry & Commerce and the Australian Hydrogen Council have signed an MoU, further deepening their excellent working relationship.
The Memorandum of Understanding, signed earlier this month, comes at a time when both countries are deepening their international collaboration. Late last year the chamber announced the launch of its German-Australian Hydrogen Alliance, with the Australian Hydrogen Council as one of our founding members. This MoU further demonstrates our commitment to being a central partner in all business and policy matters around hydrogen. Both organisations are committed to accelerating the important role that hydrogen can play in a low-carbon future. We will continue working together to explore the potential for hydrogen in the German-Australian relationship.
Christoph von Spesshardt, Executive Director German-Australian Chamber: “Streamlining the hydrogen industry between the two countries is fundamental to a successful green hydrogen export market. This MoU is reflective of an excellent ongoing collaboration between our two institutions.”
Michael Zettinig, Deputy Executive Director, German-Australian Chamber: “This agreement builds on the bilateral hydrogen sub-working group on a government level, which is chaired by AHC CEO Fiona Simon and myself.”
